Description:

Position Summary

Operate equipment to control chemical changes or reactions in the processing of industrial or consumer products. Pre assistance to the chemist(s) and maintain a good working relationship with peers.

Essential Functions

  • Comply with all Federal, State and Local
  • Have the ability to fluently read, write, and speak in
  • Adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures as described in the Jacam
  • Adhere to Jacam's Drug and Alcohol policy and agrees to submit to random drug testing as a condition of
  • Have a valid Driver's License and vehicle to pick up samples at plant as
  • Work in laboratory environment wherein chemical odors may be
  • Complete and analyze all samples accurately (water, solid, ).

  • Follow written lab procedures manual and update manual if changes in procedures are made (approved by Paul Stephens)

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) and/or two to four years related experience
  • Be highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a
  • Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful and credible in the
  • Show an ability to build communal relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Show an ability to communicate clearly and in writing clearly and

Work Environment

A laboratory environment in a controlled atmosphere building.

Skills & Abilities

  • Computer Skills: Strong background in MS Office applications
  • Certificates & Licenses: High School Diploma, Associates, or Bachelors (preferred).
  • Other Requirements: Laboratory/chemical background
