WORK DETAILS
In-office position, located at 129 West Avenue A, Hutchinson. Full-time, 36-40 hours per week, office hours are 8-5pm, Monday - Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Staffing Specialist, is an integral part of Heartland's hiring strategy, leading full-cycle recruiting, building strong talent pipelines, and enhancing the candidate experience. Partnering with hiring managers across departments to attract diverse, high-quality talent while ensuring a seamless hiring process.
•Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts - source, screen, and place top candidates.
•Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract passive and active talent.
•Serve as a trusted hiring partner to managers across all departments.
•Champion an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and engagement.
•Promote HCU's culture and commitment to diversity & inclusion in all hiring efforts.
•Maintain accurate data and analytics to track recruitment success.
•Strengthen partnerships with schools, staffing agencies, and job programs.
REQUIREMENTS
•College degree; or equivalent experience.
•At least one year to three years of experience in recruitment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Self-motivated, self-starter, driven to succeed.
•Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Ability to prioritize tasks.
•Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
•Able to operate related computer applications and PC.
•Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Flexible and open to change.
•Valid driver's license.
•Pass required background screenings.
•Required to sit, stand, and walk. Standing for extended periods of time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
