Job Details

The Childcare Provider assists the director in creating and providing a nurturing environment for children in a safe and caring setting. To accomplish these tasks, the Childcare Provider works closely with the director and administration of the district. This is a 7.5 hours a day (7:30 am-3:00pm), 12 month position.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the central office (after employment offer is made).
3. Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performance.

1. Ability to assist in keeping all children safe and make sure their needs are met.
2. Ability to assist with everyday needs, may include but not limited to feeding, dressing, and diapering.
3. Ability to discipline children who are misbehaving.
4. Ability to communicate developmental or safety concerns of children.
5. Ability to react to change and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner.
6. Ability to work with different ages of children (birth to 12 years of age) at the same time.
